NaviSite Partners With MuleSource to Help Customers Align Business and Technology Through the Use of SOA

MuleSource, the leading provider of open source service oriented architecture (SOA) infrastructure software, today announced a partnership with NaviSite, Inc. (NASDAQ:NAVI), a leading provider of application management and enterprise hosting solutions, to offer MuleSource’s technology as a part of NaviSite’s AppStructure platform, simplifying service oriented development across NaviSite-hosted systems, on-premise applications, and external trading partners. The new offering, available immediately, provides customers with a one-stop shop for integration and hosting services with far-reaching visibility into their SOA infrastructure and hosted environments.

NaviSite’s AppStructure service is launched from the solid foundation of NaviSite’s hosting infrastructure and deep expertise with managing and supporting applications. The addition of the industry-leading Mule enterprise service bus (ESB) allows NaviSite to offer its customers a service to support high-performance, multi-protocol transactions between heterogeneous systems.
