Sonic to Present at the Piper Jaffray 28th Annual Consumer Conference

Sonic Corp. (NASDAQ: SONC), the nation's largest chain of drive-in
restaurants, today announced that the company will present at the Piper
Jaffray 28th Annual Consumer Conference, which takes place in New York
City, June 10-11. The investor presentation by Sonic's management is
scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, June 10, and
will be available to investors via a live audio webcast. A link to the
webcast can be found at the investor section of the company's website, www.sonicdrivein.com,
and the event will be available for replay using that same link for a
period of 30 days.
Sonic also announced that it will release results for the third quarter
ended May 31, 2008, following the market's close on June 24, 2008.
Management will host a conference call with analysts the next day to
review Sonic's financial and operational results for the quarter. A live
broadcast of Sonic's conference call will begin at 10:00 a.m. Eastern
Time on June 25, 2008. An online replay will be available approximately
two hours following the conclusion of the live broadcast and will
continue through July 25, 2008. Links to these events may be found at
