Spill.com Movie Community Breaks Into Hitwise Movie and Entertainment Top Twenty

MIVA zu myNews hinzufügen Was ist das?

Global digital media company, MIVA, Inc., (NASDAQ:MIVA), today announced that its movie community and animated movie review site, Spill.com, has been ranked as one of the twenty most popular movie and entertainment sites on the web, according to online research firm Hitwise1. Launched under a year ago, the Spill.com movie community has seen double-digit percentage growth in page impressions and unique visitors each month since the beginning of the year. In March the site generated over two million page impressions and almost half a million unique visitors2. The rise in popularity of Spill.com has been driven in part by the addition of a number of new movie related features to the site, the most recent of which is a channel showcasing interviews between The Spill Crew and Hollywood actors, actresses and directors. The celebrity interview channel launched with interviews including Will Ferrell talking about his movie Semi-Pro, Emile Hirsch talking about Into the Wild, Janeane Garofalo talking about Ratatouille, Ryan Reynolds and John August talking about The Nines and director Frank Darabont talking about his movie, The Mist. The new interview channel sits alongside animated reviews of upcoming movie releases which are posted onto the site each week by The Spill Crew. In March, these movie reviews generated over 600,000 views across Spill.com, video sharing sites and through a Spill.com movie widget which consumers can add to their personalized homepages or social network profiles. "Our aim with Spill.com is to build a social network and entertainment site that is specifically geared towards movie enthusiasts,” commented Sloan Gaon from Spill.com. "I believe the fact that in under a year we’ve reached the Hitwise top twenty and are getting on radar with the big studios to secure A-List celebrity interviews is a real endorsement of what we’re trying to achieve.” www.spill.com About Spill.com Spill is an online movie community and movie information resource. At the heart of the Spill site are down to earth and irreverent animated reviews of the latest film releases which are posted each week by The Spill Crew: Korey, Carlyle, Cyrus, Leon and Co-Host 3000. Among the latest reviews on Spill are the Superhero movie review and the 21 movie review. The Spill site offers users a full range of social networking features. Users can create their own profile pages, build and maintain networks of friends and upload videos and pictures. Users can also access over 600,000 pages of movie-related information from film synopses and cast lists through to a comprehensive database of actors and actresses. About MIVA®, Inc. MIVA, Inc. Was halten Sie von nutzergenerierten Chartanalysen auf finanzen.net?
