The boards of directors of State Automobile Mutual Insurance Company and
State Auto Property & Casualty Insurance Company have elected two
associates assistant vice presidents of the companies.
Lawrence (Larry) A. Adeleye, 50, joined State Auto in July as
director of treasury and finance. He has more than 25 years of
experience as a finance professional, most recently serving as director
of treasury operations for the Liberty Mutual Group/Ohio Casualty
Insurance. He has also served in finance management roles with Tellabs,
CNA Financial and Galileo International. Adeleye received a bachelor’s
degree in business administration from the State University of New York
at Buffalo and an MBA from the University of New Haven (Conn.). He holds
the Certified Treasury Professionals (CTP) designation.
Scott A. Jones, 45, was elected an assistant secretary in 2005
and currently serves as portfolio manager. After receiving a bachelor’s
degree in finance from The Ohio State University, Jones joined State
Auto as a personal lines underwriter. He held various underwriting
positions prior to joining the financial accounting department in 1996
and the investments department in 2002. Jones holds the Chartered
Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
and Certified Treasury Professionals (CTP) designations.
