Steven Boss Named to University of Texas Engineering School Advisory Board

Boss has been named to the Advisory Board of the University of Texas at Austin's Cockrell School of Engineering. "I’m delighted and honored to join the Board of my alma mater,” said Boss. Before that, Boss led Sierra Pacific Energy Company and Nevada Power Services and served as president and CEO of Sunrise Energy Services Inc. During Boss’ tenure, Sunrise Energy became one of the largest, independent, natural gas marketing companies in the U.S. commercial market sector. Sunrise was publicly traded and listed on the Amex and London stock exchanges. Boss has also served in various legal and senior-management positions in a number of energy companies, and is a sought-after speaker on energy policy and energy restructuring. In addition to his engineering degree, he earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California and has been a member of the California State Bar since 1974.
