Tumbleweed® Communications Corp.
(NASDAQ:TMWD), an industry leader in managed file transfer and email
security, today announced that company executives will present insights
into the latest security trends at the RSA Conference in San Francisco,
April 7-11. Tumbleweed executives will be discussing some of the most
pressing issues affecting enterprises during two separate sessions, one
on encryption and the other on logical and physical access control.
On Wednesday, April 9, at 8 a.m., Dr. Taher Elgamal, CTO of
Tumbleweed, also known as the "Inventor
of SSL,” will lead a Peer to Peer discussion
entitled "Creating a Clear Enterprise
Encryption Strategy.” Elgamal will lead
participants in a discussion about maximizing encryption strategies to
fit enterprise security plans.
On Thursday, April 10, at 10:40 a.m., Tumbleweed’s
vice president of product management, Joe Fisher, will moderate a
panel about identity validation entitled, "Two
for One: Keys to Consolidating Logical and Physical Access Control.”
Fisher is joined by panelists Michael Hejtmanek, CEO of Enterprise
Air, and John Thielens, VP of Technology for Tumbleweed, to discuss
the move toward a consolidated access management program, as well as
strategies for managing physical and logical access simultaneously.
Additionally at RSA, Tumbleweed will demonstrate their new FTP
Analyzer at their booth #2232. The FTP Analyzer is a free
diagnostic tool that enables organizations to identify all FTP traffic
on their network, including unsecured and rogue traffic, to get ahead
of any risks presented by unsecured FTP. FTP is the cheapest, simplest
and most versatile method for sharing large data files over the
Internet, yet it introduces security challenges as well-intentioned
employees turn to FTP for transmission of business-critical data.
RSA Conference 2008 will be held on April 7-11, at the Moscone Center in
San Francisco. More details about the RSA Conference can be found here: http://www.rsaconference.com/2008/US/home.aspx.
