Whoops! Motorola Accidentally Sold A Bunch Of Used Tablets With Personal Information Still Stored On Them (MMI)

If you returned your Motorola Xoom tablet last year, your personal information could be in the hands of a stranger now.We just got a notice from Motorola that says a bunch of used Wi-Fi Motorola Xooms sold on Woot.com (about 100 of them) were sold with the previous owner's information still on it.The affected tablets were sold beteen October and December of last year.Motorola warns that the tablets could contain personal information such as photos, emails, passwords, etc. They were supposed to be refurbished and wiped clean before resale, but it looks like Motorola missed a few.The affected tablets were those returned to Amazon.com, Best Buy, BJ’s Wholesale, eBay, Office Max, Radio Shack, Sam’s Club, or Staples, and a few other smaller retailers.
