Wolters Kluwer Financial Services Launches Financial Services Authority Handbook

Wolters Kluwer Financial Services today announced it is expanding its
commitment to help meet the needs of financial organisations in the
United Kingdom with the introduction of the Financial Services Authority
(FSA) Handbook, an online tool that allows quick and easy access to FSA
regulations and rules.
The handbook is available online via CCH®
Wall Street’s Compliance Resource Network
(CRN), a destination site for compliance professionals seeking
comprehensive compliance and regulatory information, and the Wolters
Kluwer Law & Business’ Internet Research
Network (IRN).
Searching for specific FSA rules and regulations can be a time-consuming
task for compliance and legal professionals—especially
if they rely on different Web sites to conduct their searches because
each site organizes information differently and employs different search
technology. Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, which covers more than 80
regulatory bodies in the securities industry, offers all of the FSA
rules and regulations, and related materials, such as speeches and press
releases, within the U.K. securities, banking and insurance market in a
consistent format. This allows users to search by keyword or rule
number, or browse through an electronic table of contents, to quickly
access information.
The FSA Handbook is an important addition to the CRN and IRN, which
provide regulatory resources from the United States, Canada and
Australia, and complements Wolters Kluwer Financial Services’
international expansion of its Securities Compliance Solutions, an
initiative that was announced earlier this year.
"Wolters Kluwer Financial Services is
committed to providing solutions and services that help the financial
industry address its biggest challenges,” said
Mark Coronna, executive vice president of Wolters Kluwer Financial
Services’ Securities and Insurance group. "Financial
organisations within the U.K. turn to FSA rules on a daily basis to
ensure they are remaining compliant. With its online availability
through the Compliance Resource Network, the FSA Handbook helps them
save time and resources by simplifying the research process and offering
access to the information and analysis they need to make well-informed
decisions.”
Wolters Kluwer Financial Services also covers the FSA in its Securities
Compliance Tracker, which offers news from 15 different regulators every
morning via e-mail. Subscribers can customize the news they receive by
agency, keywords or document type.
