Wolters Kluwer Financial Services announced today the availability of
its 2008 "New York Stock Exchange Guide –
Rules of the Exchange,” a paperback book
containing full text of New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Member Firm rules
as of May 31, 2008.
The Guide provides securities and legal professionals with easy access
to NYSE regulations so they can quickly address compliance questions. It
offers a complete look at the rulebook, providing sections on everything
from disciplinary rules, to arbitration, to communications with the
public. The Guide also includes a new section on electronic equity
trading facility NYSE MatchPoint.
"In order to handle compliance issues quickly
and effectively, it’s critical to have instant
access to regulatory rules,” said Mark
Coronna, executive vice president of Securities Compliance and Insurance
at Wolters Kluwer Financial Services. "Compiling
the general rules of the NYSE into a book allows securities and legal
professionals to own a copy of the rules that can be easily annotated
and referenced when a question arises.”
