Korea, Government of -- Moody's: Korea's new president inherits an economy with strong fundamentals
Singapore, December 20, 2012 -- Moody's Investors Service says that Korea's new president, Ms. Park Geun Hye, elected on 19 December, will inherit an economy whose fundamentals have improved since the global financial crisis, but which is facing global headwinds. We expect overall continuity in economic policies when Ms. Park becomes president in February 2013, the sixth since democracy was firmly established in 1988.
