MDM Bank -- Moody's downgrades MDM Bank's BFSR to D-; deposit ratings to Ba3; negative outlook
London, 20 December 2012 -- Moody's Investors Service has today downgraded the standalone bank financial strength rating ("BFSR") of MDM Bank (Russia) to D-, equivalent to a standalone credit assessment of ba3, from D (formerly equivalent to ba2). Concurrently, MDM Bank's long-term local- and foreign-currency deposit ratings, as well as its local-currency senior unsecured debt rating were downgraded to Ba3 from Ba2, whilst the bank's Not Prime short-term local- and foreign-currency deposit ratings were affirmed. The outlook on the bank's BFSR and its long-term ratings remains negative.
