Rogers Communications Inc. -- Moody's says Rogers' $700 million deal with Shaw is credit-positive
Toronto, January 16, 2013 -- Moody's Investors Service (Moody's) said Rogers Communications Inc.'s (Baa1, Stable), pending ~$700 million transaction with Shaw Communications Inc. (Shaw; Baa3, Stable) is credit-positive and ratings-neutral since investment returns realized over time will off-set initial credit metric dilution.
