Great Plains Energy Incorporated (NYSE: GXP) announced today that Terry Bassham, Executive Vice President and CFO, will be presenting at the Merrill Lynch Power & Gas Leaders Conference on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 10:15 a.m. EDT.
