Tim Wyatt appointed President, Head of LNG and Gas Marketing; Mike Stice, Jonty Shepard and Markus Droll named to Board Leadership
HOUSTON, Sept. 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Caturus, an integrated natural gas and LNG company focused on delivering responsibly sourced, low-emission natural gas to fuel domestic and international markets, today announced pivotal executive leadership and board appointments that will accelerate Caturus' momentum as a differentiated leader in the global LNG landscape and energy transition.
Tim Wyatt has been appointed President, Head of LNG and Gas Marketing. Mr. Wyatt brings an impressive wealth of leadership experience across the global energy and maritime sectors, with a demonstrated track record of successfully overseeing strategic growth initiatives and operational excellence. Prior to this role, Mr. Wyatt held several senior executive positions at Hanwha Group, including Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer – LNG and Shipping. Before joining Hanwha, Mr. Wyatt spent 12 years at Cheniere Energy, culminating in his role as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy. Mr. Wyatt also previously served on the Board of Directors for Cheniere Energy Partners L.P. and Next Decade.
Caturus additionally welcomed a distinguished group of established energy and leadership experts to its Board of Directors:
- Mike Stice is a veteran energy executive with decades of global leadership experience across the oil and gas value chain. He is the former CEO of Access Midstream (formerly Chesapeake Midstream Partners) and prior to that spent 27 years at ConocoPhillips in senior roles including President of Conoco Energy Solutions and later President of ConocoPhillips Qatar. He is currently a professor at the University of Oklahoma, focusing on energy, climate, and leadership. Dr. Stice serves on the Boards of Directors of Kosmos Energy, Marathon Petroleum Corporation, and MPLX GP LLC, where he contributes to key governance, audit, and sustainability initiatives.
- Jonty Shepard is the former VP LNG Trading and Origination at bp, where he spent 17 years growing the company's market leading LNG portfolio. Mr. Shepard began his career at bp in 1992, holding key roles in refining and commercial development across the Former Soviet Union, Africa, and the Mediterranean. His international assignments included leading commercial operations in Vietnam and Angola, negotiating major gas agreements and supporting infrastructure development with global partners. In his role leading bp's global LNG business, Mr. Shepard oversaw the growth of the portfolio to deliver LNG to global customers using a fleet of over 30 LNG vessels on short and long term charters, and regasification positions across Europe. Mr. Shepard will begin serving on Caturus' board of directors on January 1, 2026.
- Markus Droll spent a distinguished career at Shell, where he retired as Executive Vice President of Projects and Engineering. He was responsible for the global delivery of all Shell's capital projects, including upstream, integrated gas, downstream, chemicals, wind, hydrogen, CCUS, and low carbon fuels. Mr. Droll will sit on Caturus' Engineering and Execution Technical Sub Committee, where he will draw on his decades of world-scale, operational knowledge and project delivery expertise.
