Métal en feuilles de Matane will have the means to boost its growth

The Government of Canada awards more than $45,000 in funding to this Matane-based SME

MATANE, QC, Oct, 11, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

Rémi Massé, Member of Parliament for Avignon–La Mitis–Matane–Matapédia, acting on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for CED, announced today that Métal en feuilles de Matane (1989) inc. would receive a repayable contribution of $45,648 to help the company improve its productivity and enhance its production capacity.

The company aims to pursue its growth by improving its performance. The funding granted through CED's Quebec Economic Development Program will be used by Métal en feuilles de Matane to acquire and install higher-performance equipment that is better adapted to the demand of its clients, including a digitally controlled hydraulic shear and folder.

The Matane-based company specializes in the manufacturing and welding of aluminum and corrosion-resistant metals made from sheet metal for the food processing, shipbuilding, concrete, pulp and paper, construction and renovation industry sectors.
