UniPrint.net and Process Fusion Debut Combined Healthcare Solutions at HIMSS 2019 in Orlando

DRUCKEN

TORONTO, Feb. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- UniPrint.net and Process Fusion announced today that they will debut a combined healthcare document workflow solution for referral management at HIMSS 2019 in Orlando, Florida this week. The technology providers, who underwent a merger in late 2018, have worked quickly to integrate their individual healthcare solutions to bring Digital Transformation to print and fax-dependent healthcare providers worldwide.

UniPrint.net is the creator of UniPrint Infinity software, and their exclusive Healthcare Printing Suite solution allows for simplified printer management for Healthcare IT providers, as well as enhanced document security through encryption and secure pull printing. Process Fusion's CP-1 document capture and workflow platform facilitates the secure delivery of inbound referral document, physical or digital from physicians to the appropriate scheduling workflow in a unified digital format. CP-1 uses machine learning to eliminate repetitive data entry and can reduce the need for printing and faxing documents.  Both solutions aim to give time back to the physician offices, the hospitals and especially patients.

While the UniPrint and CP-1 platforms support both physical and digital input and output, the ultimate goal for many healthcare organizations is to be 100% digital, and in the process eliminate the need for paper and fax. Two new CP-1 features will be unveiled at HIMSS 2019: The SecureSend feature powered by UniPrint Infinity's Universal Print Driver technology, and Scheduling Assist - the 24/7 Advanced Booking Assistant powered by SimplifiMed.

The SecureSend feature of CP-1 allows automatic data capture of information from the referring physicians into the hospital EHR system without the need for OCR or complex data capture software. The data is captured and delivered securely to the hospital when the physician's office simply "prints" the referral document using a Universal Print Driver. The SecureSend technology is simple to deploy without the need for user training.

"Our customers are excited about the simplicity of the CP-1 SecureSend feature. Some customers are telling us that it has the potential to eliminate faxing all together," says Daniel Cheng, CMO of UniPrint.net.

The new CP-1 Scheduling Assist solution also aims to give time back to physicians, hospitals, and patients using an intelligent SMS bot to communicate scheduling information directly to the patient; there is no need for patients or staff to wait on the phone for confirmation. This feature also decreases patient no-shows and is able to proactively fill canceled spots.

Want to see these solutions at work? Visit UniPrint and Process Fusion at the HIMSS 2019 Solutions Expo February 12 – 14. They are exhibiting in 2 locations – The Ontario Pavilion (booth #1721) and with Citrix Ready (booth #527).
