SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill., June 30, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Universal Metal Hose, Inc., a leader in the precision metal hose and metal braid industry, and a subsidiary of the Hyspan Group, is pleased to announce it has changed the company name to Universal Hose & Braid.

The established and highly respected Universal brand began with the company's founding in Chicago in 1942 where it introduced numerous innovations including processes for the fabrication of strip wound and corrugated hose, thin wall tubing, and development of a helical tube welder. Through the years, Universal has expanded its footprint, products and expertise with acquisitions of other major companies, including Allied Metal Hose in 1993 and Anamet Industrial, Inc. (formerly Anaconda Metal) in 2000, and certain product line acquisitions of American Boa in 2020.

The company has launched a new website, http://www.universalhb.com, and will incorporate the new Universal Hose & Braid branding across all communications, materials and products in the coming months.
