Synchrony Reports Third Quarter 2025 Results; Company also Announces Approval of $1 Billion Increase in Share Repurchase Authority

STAMFORD, Conn., Oct. 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Synchrony Financial (NYSE: SYF) today announced its third quarter 2025 results for the period ending September 30, 2025. Today at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time, Brian Doubles, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Brian Wenzel Sr., Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will host a conference call to review the financial results and outlook for certain business drivers. The company also announced that its Board of Directors approved a $1 billion increase to the company's share repurchase authorization through June 30, 2026.  As of September 30, 2025, the company had $1.1 billion remaining under its prior authorization, bringing the total amount available for share repurchases to $2.1 billion through June 30, 2026.
