Buchanan Capital Partners Makes Second Laredo Industrial Acquisition

AUSTIN, Texas, June 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Buchanan Capital Partners ("BCP"), an Austin-based, zero-fee commercial real estate investment firm, in conjunction with Frontier Real Estate Partners, announces its second off-market Laredo acquisition: an 86,310-square-foot, newly built industrial warehouse located at 172 Interamerica Blvd in Laredo, Texas. This acquisition follows the successful 100% leasing of their first industrial building, acquired in November 2024, to a national trucking company.

The property, situated in the highly sought-after Killam Industrial Park, benefits from its proximity to Laredo's World Trade Bridge, one of the busiest ports in the U.S., handling over 60% of all overland freight traffic between the U.S. and Mexico. Despite tariff uncertainties, continued corporate investment in Mexico underscores the booming nearshoring trend. For example, LEGO announced a $500 million investment during the peak of tariff concerns in April 2025.
