The fund seeks to generate long term capital growth by investing in high quality companies that are traded on Regulated Markets in the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan (“Greater China”). The Fund is an actively managed fund and invests primarily in shares of companies that are located in Greater China. The Investment Manager will focus on companies that are expected to substantially benefit from the growth and transformation of the economy in China into a more consumption-driven and service-oriented market economy in the coming decades. The Investment Manager will seek to invest in several megatrends arising from such transformation including but not limited to technology innovation, clean environment, and middle-class-led consumption boom. The Fund may also invest in companies domiciled in other countries which may have close economic links with Greater China that are also benefiting from the transformation of the economy of Greater China.
