The fund mainly invests in equities that are issued by Japanese mid and large capitalisation companies. The fund generally favours direct investment but may at times invest through derivatives. Specifically, the fund normally invests at least 90% of total net assets in equities and equity-related instruments, that are traded or issued by companies that are included in the benchmark.
