Another Group of Graphics Workers Secures Strong Union Representation

CHICAGO, May 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- A group of 25 Universal Promotions workers in Chicago has voted to join Teamsters Local 710.

"With Teamsters representation, we will have a real say over how we're treated on the job," said Cecilia Sandoval, an E-store and inventory controller at Universal Promotions and proud new member of Local 710. "We're excited to negotiate a contract that guarantees we're treated with respect."

Universal Promotions workers provide services ranging from graphic design and embroidery to engraving and screen printing. They wanted to join Local 710 to secure a real voice in the workplace as well as the higher wages, better benefits, and improved work rules that come with a Teamsters contract.
