Aktienfonds

Als Aktienfonds werden diejenigen Investmentfonds bezeichnet, welche zum größten Teil in Aktien investieren. Die Investition in Aktienfonds ist durch die jeweilige Risikostreuung der Fonds in der Regel mit geringeren Risiken für den Anleger verbunden als der Kauf einzelner Aktien. Außerdem ist ein wesentlich geringeres persönliches Know-How notwendig als beim Direkterwerb von Einzeltiteln. Für solche Fonds werden zahlreiche Anlagestrategien verwendet. So gibt es beispielsweise Aktienfonds, die schlicht versuchen einen Aktienindex bestmöglich abzubilden. Ein weiteres Anlagekonzept stellen die Branchenfonds dar, diese investieren nur in Aktien aus bestimmten Wirtschaftssektoren. Analog dazu investieren Regionale Fonds in Aktien aus bestimmten Ländern oder Regionen. Neben diesen konventionellen Anlagestrategien gibt es auch Aktienfonds, die ethische Maßstäbe bei der Erstellung des Fondsportfolios verwenden. Ein gängiges Beispiel für solche Fonds sind die sogenannten Islam Fonds, die nur in Titel investieren welche Scharia-konform wirtschaften. Für umweltbewusste Anleger sind auch Umweltfonds interessant. Bei dieser Unterart von Aktienfonds versuchen die Fondsmanager keine Titel in den Fonds aufzunehmen hinter denen Unternehmen stehen, welche die Umwelt in besonderem Maße schädigen. Auch die Unternehmensgröße kann ein Orientierungspunkt für Anlagestrategien sein. Einige Fonds haben sich auf „small cap“ Titel spezialisiert, während andere größtenteils in „blue chips“ investieren. Während also zahlreiche Spezialkategorien im Aktienfonds Bereich existieren, muss beachtet werden, dass bei einer größeren Spezialisierung des Aktienfonds die Streuung des Portfolios und die Anlagealternativen für die Fondsmanager abnehmen. Dadurch sind derartige Fonds mit einem höheren Risiko für den Anleger verbunden.
