To date, Cox Campus has delivered more than $180 million in structured literacy training, entirely free to teachers, schools, districts, and systems across the country.

Made possible by more than a decade of generous investment from local philanthropic organizations, Cox Campus provides internationally accredited professional learning rooted in the science of reading at no cost to educators. These professional development courses and resources are not only accessible, but they are also scalable and sustainable.

Cox Campus is a trusted platform, offering a proven pathway for meeting legislative mandates, deepening educator knowledge, and driving student outcomes. With more than 375,000 Members in all 50 states and 147 countries, Cox Campus is the only credit-bearing, free online structured literacy professional development program accredited by the International Dyslexia Association. As of the end of April 2025, members had completed more than 1.2 million Cox Campus courses, delivering an estimated value of $180M at no cost to educators or districts. In partnership with the Georgia Department of Education, the Rollins Center worked to use Cox Campus structured literacy courses to create the Georgia Literacy Academy.   • 45,000+ Georgia educators have engaged in coursework

  • 348,000+ structured literacy courses have been completed

  • A market value of $52.2 million in professional learning has been delivered at no cost to Georgia educators, schools and districts

Across the US, 40 states have passed some form of literacy legislation rooted in the science of reading. In Ohio, more than 28,892 educators are Members of Cox Campus, and collectively they have completed 165,342 courses to fulfill a state-endorsed early childhood educator credential (an estimated FMV of $24.8M). In Wisconsin, Cox Campus has met the training qualifications of a new state law. As a result, more than 120 schools and districts have set up "locally led" groups on Cox Campus to advance their own professional learning. There are more than 13,708 teachers in Wisconsin who have completed over 108,059 courses at no cost to the state, districts, schools or teachers (an estimated FMV of $16.2M).

Cox Campus holds dual international accreditations from IACET and the International Dyslexia Association (IDA). It is the only free online credit-earning science of reading-based platform that has earned the IDA accreditation.
