Formally Vintners Resort, Vinarosa Resort & Spa Ushers in a New Era of Refined Wine Country Hospitality and Timeless Elegance

SANTA ROSA, Calif., June 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Ensemble Hospitality announced today the July completion of the $15 million + transformation and rebranding of the former Vintners Resort as Vinarosa Resort & Spa, a new beacon of luxury and sustainability in Sonoma County. Drawing from a lineage steeped in European viticulture, the 92-acre working vineyard and resort will immerse guests in a world of casual luxury, combining sophisticated accommodations, acclaimed farm-to-table dining, immersive experiences and a profound sense of place rooted in its vineyard heritage. Long celebrated as the gateway to Sonoma County's Russian River Valley, Vinarosa Resort & Spa will transport guests in a world of understated luxury and timeless elegance, where sophistication meets serenity.

"We have unveiled Vinarosa with a very specific vision of wine country elegance that will allow our guests to instantly unwind and savor the tastefully redesigned interiors and newly landscaped exteriors which seamlessly integrate with the breathtaking picturesque vineyard setting," said General Manager, Michael Collins. "Our guests will embark on personalized and curated Wine Country experiences and then return to luxury accommodations and chef inspired culinary delights."

The fully reimagined resort showcases newly appointed guest rooms and bathrooms; a large resort lobby featuring The Parlor, offering curated coffee and wine selections, along with an expanded retail experience; refreshed meeting and event space; a new state-of-the-art fitness center alongside the lavish Spa at Vinarosa (previously known as the Vi La Vita Spa) inspired by wellness and nature; new exterior pathways, lighting, landscaping and intimate seating areas throughout the courtyard and front of lobby; and a stunning resort pool featuring cabanas, day beds, hot tub, fire pit and a full-service pool bar.

Vinarosa Resort & Spa is owned and developed by Ensemble, with interiors thoughtfully designed by ARCSINE. "Inspired by the charm of a Provençal retreat, the redesign aims to honor the site's rich history while telling a multigenerational story of discovery and cultivation," said Elizabeth Dillon, Director of Interiors at ARCSINE. "Each space is layered with a curated mix of eclectic relics and heirloom artwork, inviting a sense of discovery at every turn. The palette draws from nature's richest hues—plum, olive, honey, lavender, and grape—balanced by the warmth of oak and walnut woods. Thoughtfully layered textures and a harmonious blend of textiles create a tactile, immersive experience that brings the past to the present."

Standout design elements include a dramatic new lobby that brings the outdoors in, anchored by a living tree encircled by a handcrafted stone mosaic beneath a central skylight; a hidden billiards and games room concealed within a built-in bookcase; and a reimagined courtyard with intimate seating nooks, fire pits, and elevated flower beds blooming with a sea of white roses. In the new guest rooms, details reflect craftsmanship from a bespoke brass-and-wood bar cart with hand-crafted local spirits; an elegant tambour wood bathroom vanity with a freestanding tub and statement stone slab wainscot; and hand-woven carpet inspired by an aerial view of the surrounding vineyards. Warmth and texture are layered throughout, from the fluted wood custom headboard and brass-and-stone nightstands to the inviting warmth and glow of the gas fireplace.

John Ash's Executive Chef, Sergio Howland unveils a revitalized culinary experience, setting a new benchmark for food and wine excellence with a reimagined farm-to-table menu inspired by the resort's abundant culinary gardens, flourishing fig and olive orchards, and its vibrant 92-acre working vineyard. Featured chef experiences include culinary garden tours, curated vineyard picnics and customized wine blendings and tastings. The vineyards are an ideal setting for wine dinners and morning yoga, featuring guided walking paths to explore the lush vineyards.

Located just 60 miles north of San Francisco, Vinarosa Resort & Spa will further establish the Russian River Valley as a luxury wine country destination, alongside all of Sonoma County's famed wineries and restaurants.
