The announcement coincides with a $4 million seed round led by NGVP, bringing their total funding to $7.1 million. Receive was founded by fintech executive Ariel Blum, who previously held leadership roles at Melio, Green Dot, and American Express. Fast-growing businesses were held back by delayed payouts, long settlement windows, high capital costs, and expensive credit that slowed momentum.
