With innovations spanning resolution breakthroughs, intelligent solutions, and scalable system design, United Imaging presents differentiated technologies that support clinicians and researchers to "See More to Accelerate the Cure."

NEW ORLEANS, June 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- As the molecular imaging community gathers under the SNMMI 2025 theme, "Accelerate the Cure," United Imaging, a global manufacturer of modern medical imaging technology, will showcase its most advanced technologies, reinforcing its commitment to transforming patient care through high-performance imaging systems, intelligent solutions, and equal accessibility.

United Imaging will present its new uExcel technology platform, designed to meet a wide range of clinical needs and price points. Built for scalability and efficiency, uExcel enables the sharing of critical components across systems—reducing cost and engineering complexity. This strategic approach allows United Imaging to deliver high-performance systems quickly, while maintaining a cost position that supports a lower total cost of ownership for providers and assists in providing Equal Healthcare for All patients.

Both the uMI Panorama and uMI Panvivo families leverage the enhanced uExcel platform, United Imaging's foundation for Molecular Imaging excellence. This platform integrates core innovations—ultra-digital detectors, intelligent scanning tools to include the uAI Vision 3D camera, AI-powered reconstruction, smart quality control, and a research toolkit*—to help users drive clinical and research outcomes with confidence, speed, and precision.

The uMI Panorama and uMI Panvivo system families offer industry-leading** 2.9 mm National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) spatial resolution, delivering exceptional image clarity and precision. Setting the benchmark in time-of-flight (TOF) technology, with timing resolution ranging from 189***–219 ps, enabling small lesion detectability and enhanced quantitative accuracy. United Imaging believes that seeing more leads to treating more and treating earlier. Our commitment to setting and surpassing the boundaries of technology empowers clinicians with critical insights and the confidence to deliver excellent patient care that drives better outcomes.

Scalable families of products

The uMI Panvivo family with scalable PET axial field of view (FOV) options — starting at 24 cm and 30 cm, adapts to a wide range of clinical and research scenarios. Its compact design, combined with a large tunnel clearance, ambient lighting, and the intelligent workflow powered by artificial intelligence (AI), supports both operational flexibility and patient comfort.

United Imaging will also highlight its uMI Panorama family. Starting with a 28 or 35 cm axial FOV, a 76 cm large gantry bore, and 700 lbs. table load capacity, uMI Panorama advances PET/CT imaging for patients of all sizes. It delivers versatile imaging capabilities with its performance and fully AI-driven workflow, unlocking more possibilities for therapy including theranostics and imaging across oncology, cardiology, and neurology for clinical and research exploration.

At the top of the portfolio is the uMI Panorama GS, the system leading the industry in whole-body PET/CT and our uMI Panorama family. With a 148 cm axial FOV, it enables true whole-body PET imaging in a single bed position. The world's first whole-body system to achieve sub-200 ps timing resolution of 189 ps*** enabling the system to achieve the highest effective sensitivity.** These combine to produce outstanding anatomical and functional imaging capabilities, offering new possibilities in both clinical diagnosis and molecular imaging research.

In addition to hardware, United Imaging brings forward clinical solutions across theranostics, oncology, neurology, and cardiology, offering a unified approach to both clinical practice and translational research that enables our customers to provide a comprehensive service offering to all patients.

United Imaging will also present its AI Solution for Molecular Imaging from acquisition and analysis to reporting and research. Within this ecosystem, uAI MI Solution assists with PET/CT interpretation, helping clinicians make more informed and confident decisions.

In addition, the company will feature uOmnispace that supports AI-based organ and lesion segmentation, precision oncology assessment, and personalized theranostics development.

Guided by its mission of Equal Healthcare for All™, United Imaging continues to advance molecular imaging with intelligent, accessible technologies that help move care forward.
