ASPC Announces New Editor-in-Chief for American Journal of Preventive Cardiology
HOUSTON, July 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Society for Preventive Cardiology (ASPC) is thrilled to announce that the American Journal of Preventive Cardiology (AJPC), a leading publication in Cardiology, has appointed Dr. Khurram Nasir as its new Editor-in-Chief, effective January 1, 2026.
Dr. Nasir, a globally recognized expert in preventive cardiology, brings a wealth of expertise and a visionary approach to AJPC. He is Chief of Cardiovascular Prevention at Houston Methodist, Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell, and Co-Director of the Houston Methodist–Rice University Digital Health Institute. With over 1,000 peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Nasir's work spans risk prediction, digital health innovation, health equity, and the implementation of high-value prevention strategies at both the clinical and population level.
