Fast casual concept to celebrate grand opening on October 14, offering free chicken salad for a year
ATLANTA, Sept. 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicken Salad Chick, the nation's only fast casual chicken salad restaurant concept, announced today the opening of its first restaurant in Mansfield, Texas, located at 2421 E Broad St., Suite #101. The local community is invited to celebrate this grand opening on Tuesday, October 14, where the first 100 guests in line will win free chicken salad for a year*.
During the grand opening week, guests can expect to experience the Southern hospitality that Chicken Salad Chick is known for, as well as a community focused mindset with various specials and giveaways. These include:

Chicken Salad Chick of Mansfield is owned by Troy Morrison, a seasoned entrepreneur and the largest franchise owner in the brand's system. Operating under his franchise group, Meauxmentum Strategies and Investments, Morrison runs over 100 Taco Bell and Wingstop locations nationwide, along with 21 Chicken Salad Chick restaurants across Indiana, Oklahoma and Texas. This location marks the brand's 42nd Chick in the Lone Star State.
Earlier this year, Morrison acquired operating locations and development rights in Austin, TX, Indianapolis, IN, and Tulsa, OK. Most recently, he and his team celebrated the August 26 opening of Chicken Salad Chick's Austin – Hancock restaurant. He also plans to open two new Chicks in the greater Oklahoma City area, along with a new location in Wichita, KS before the end of the year.
