Brennan succeeds long-time CEO Richard Burke, who announced his decision to retire from Envoy earlier this year to focus on non-profit organizations and board advisory work. Burke will remain an Envoy shareholder and board advisor. Palladium Equity Partners, a middle-market private equity firm, acquired Envoy in 2021 and is its largest shareholder, alongside investor True Wind Capital.

Brennan is an attorney and accomplished global business leader with a distinguished career spanning law and legal technology. He began his professional journey practicing law at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett before transitioning into corporate legal services, where he has held a series of senior executive roles across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

Most recently, from 2021 until his appointment at Envoy Global, Brennan served as Chief Executive Officer of NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation), the top-ranked tech-enabled arbitration services business, where he played a key role in leading a successful private equity exit last year. Prior to NAM, he held senior leadership positions at several leading legal technology and services companies, including serving as CEO of Luminance, a pioneer in legal-grade AI, and as President of International at Epiq, a global provider of legal and business services, where he and his family were based first in Hong Kong and then later in the UK. Brennan received his BA from Yale University and his JD from Georgetown University Law School.
