The new Roll-to-Roll nano-optics facility is being purpose-built for manufacturing Volume Bragg Grating (VBG) optical film used in a range of applications including windshield displays for vehicles and trucks, aerospace HUD's, and military gunsights.
The expansion follows over 100% year-over-year increase in revenue and demand from top-tier automotive suppliers, defense contractors, and emerging mobility OEMs. The new facility complements Luminit's existing manufacturing lines in its Los Angeles campus of three manufacturing buildings and deepens its commitment to U.S.-based innovation and secure supply for critical integrated optical technologies.
