World's Largest Robotics Competition Unites Students from more than 60 Nations and nearly all 50 states at a Hands-On STEM Celebration

GREENVILLE, Texas, May 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The 18th annual VEX Robotics World Championship, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (RECF), will take place May 6-14, 2025, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, TX. More than 2,400 teams from nearly all US states and over 60 countries will showcase their innovation and teamwork as they compete with custom-built robots in high-stakes matches in pursuit of the world champion title.

The VEX Robotics World Championship is more than a competition; it's a global celebration of innovation, creativity, and various perspectives. Through immersive, hands-on robotics programming, students and educators develop critical skills that address the talent gap in STEM fields. This championship brings together a worldwide community united by the shared language of robotics, fostering new friendships, ideas, and inspiration.

This global event unites students from elementary through university levels to compete across multiple divisions: the VEX IQ Robotics Competition (elementary and middle school), the VEX V5 Robotics Competition (middle and high school), and the VEX U Robotics Competition (college/university). To earn a spot at the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, students competed at state and regional levels, demonstrating creativity, ingenuity, and perseverance every step of the way.
