Morris Animal Foundation Names Ike Nicoll as Chief Executive Officer

DENVER, July 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Morris Animal Foundation, a global leader in advancing veterinary science and animal health, today announced the appointment of Ike Nicoll as its new chief executive officer.

Nicoll brings more than 30 years of experience leading large-scale transformations at the intersection of health care, technology and strategic growth. He is widely recognized for helping organizations scale sustainably while delivering long-term impact through partnerships, data innovation and evidence-based systems.

Before joining Morris Animal Foundation, Nicoll served as CEO and board member of US Retina, where he led a company-wide restructuring and guided the organization through a successful sale to McKesson Corp. Under his leadership, US Retina grew its purchasing volume to more than $1.5 billion, built a market-leading analytics platform and significantly increased revenue through commercial realignment.

Earlier in his career, Nicoll led Cancer Clinics of Excellence, a national network of oncology practices focused on delivering cost-effective, high-quality care. In his role, he collaborated with and advised leading clinical and technology organizations including Oregon Health & Science University, Intel and numerous venture-backed startups on go-to-market strategy, business model innovation and clinical data management.

His executive background spans Fortune 500 companies and health care startups alike, including leadership roles at IBM Global Services, AmerisourceBergen and Franklin Covey. Nicoll earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Bucknell University.
