RAILBIRD RECEIVES CFTC APPROVAL AS A DESIGNATED CONTRACT MARKET

NEW YORK, June 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Railbird Exchange, LLC (Railbird) announced today that it has been granted status as a designated contract market (DCM) by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), clearing the way for a new regulated futures exchange focused on event contracts.

Railbird is a prediction market that will allow users to buy and sell contracts that pay out based on the outcomes of real-world events—from economic indicators to entertainment and cultural moments. The exchange is expected to open for trading later this year.
