Titled, "The Chef's Table," this seasonal limited-seating series offers an unparalleled multi-course dining experience, with storytelling and tastings from a roster of celebrated chefs. The program is limited exclusively to Friday and Saturday evenings, and commences on the Fourth of July.

Shou Sugi Ban House Launches Summer Culinary Series In The Hamptons

Designed to celebrate the beauty of ingredients and harness the power of intentional dining and connection, "The Chef's Table" aligns wholeheartedly with Shou Sugi Ban House's culinary philosophy in which the approach to food is viewed as an integral part of the wellness journey. Each menu within the series is thoughtfully designed in collaboration with the Shou Sugi Ban House culinary team, incorporating input from the visiting acclaimed chefs to redefine and deliver memorable wellness cuisine experiences.

Participating chefs and the summer 2025 dates are as follows:

  • July 4-5: Camila Rinaldi, a Brazilian-born chef known for her joyful, zero-waste cooking that turns everyday ingredients into nourishment and poetry.
  • July 11-12: Tara Khattar, a culinary stylist who utilizes her global pedigree to provide a fresh approach that merges French precision with Middle Eastern soul.
  • *July 24: Mads Refslund, Co-Founder of Michelin-starred Noma and Shou Sugi Ban House's Founding Culinary Director, whose New Nordic vision, Ilis located in Brooklyn, continues to redefine contemporary cuisine.
  • Aug. 1-2: Fox Schanzer, a mission-driven chef who creates meals rooted in purpose and is devoted to supporting small farms and reframing sustainability through a reimagining of our food system.
  • Aug. 15-16: Greg Brown, a graduate of The Institute of Culinary Education and alum of some of the most acclaimed restaurants of New York City, produces memorable meals with care and intention, rooted in simplicity and seasonality.
  • Aug. 29-30: Abby Kirn, a chef, forager, and olive oil sommelier who has honed her craft in various Michelin-starred kitchens and now delivers immersive experiences inspired by the wild.

*Mads Refslund's culinary experience will take place on Thursday, July 24, 2025 and is the only exception to the weekend program.
