The OPUS
Health division of Cegedim Relationship Management today announced
the expansion of its patient acquisition and retention portfolio. OPUS
Health’s newest solution allows pharmaceutical manufacturers to promote
and deploy loyalty card programs within e-prescribing and electronic
health records (EHRs) systems.
The solution enables higher promotion redemption by delivering loyalty
card offers directly to a patient’s pharmacy through e-prescribing
systems. The personalized offer is also printed for the benefit of the
patient. Further, the OPUS Health solution enables pharmaceutical
manufacturers to shift from the costly, time-consuming distribution
process of physical loyalty cards to an electronic system that
eliminates pharmacy obstacles for patients in receiving/redeeming
loyalty card offers. As a result, pharmaceutical companies can now
benefit from higher first-fill rates, ongoing adherence and brand
loyalty through easy and accessible product promotions whose benefits go
directly to patients.
OPUS Health has created the largest syndicated e-prescribing/EHR network
with loyalty card promotion capabilities. OPUS Health is committed to
expand accessibility to hundreds of e-prescribing/EHR providers.
Deploy Electronic Loyalty Card Programs at the Point-of-Prescribing
to Increase First-Fill Rates and Improve Medication Adherence
The digitalization of interactions between patients and health care
professionals continues to holistically improve the quality and delivery
of healthcare. With Federal incentives driving the e-prescribing/EHR
trend, OPUS Health’s new offering is helping pharmaceutical companies
deploy promotional services that increase accessibility to high-quality
branded drugs and improve medication adherence. As reported, there are
over 234,000 physicians ordering and sending over 326 million
prescriptions electronically.
"By delivering a pharmaceutical company’s loyalty card promotion along
with a patient’s prescription electronically, our latest solution will
optimize companies’ loyalty programs in order to increase cost
effectiveness and overall medication adherence”, explained Paul Kandle,
Vice President and General Manager of OPUS Health, a division of Cegedim
Relationship Management.
