A portion of ticket sales from the match will benefit the Illinois Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP-IL). Discounted tickets are available, allowing fans to enjoy an action-packed evening of rugby while supporting mental health awareness and honoring lives touched by suicide.

"We're proud to stand alongside the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention as a promotional partner for our May 31st, Major League Rugby game against Nola Gold. Through the power of sport, we have a unique platform to raise awareness, break the stigma, and let people know that help is always within reach. Together, we're committed to saving lives and building a stronger, more supportive community," said James English, CEO/GM of the Chicago Hounds.

"This partnership is about more than the game," said Angela Cummings, executive director of AFSP Illinois. "It's about building stronger communities through connection, compassion, and shared purpose. When we come together—whether in the stands, at work, or in our neighborhoods—we help save lives."

The event is part of AFSP's broader effort to spotlight mental health and suicide prevention during Mental Health Awareness Month. Funds raised will support local education prevention, loss support services, and community outreach initiatives across Illinois.
