Manasquan Bank Launches New Home Lending Programs to Honor Local Heroes
WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J., June 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Manasquan Bank is proud to announce the launch of three new residential home lending products tailored specifically for community heroes: Educators, First Responders, and Military Personnel. These new offerings reflect the Bank's deep commitment to supporting those who dedicate their lives to serving others, both in local New Jersey communities, and across the country.
Each of the three programs, the Educators 1st Loan, First Responders Loan, and Hero Home Loan, has been designed with meaningful borrower benefits to help make homeownership more accessible and affordable. Qualified clients purchasing a primary residence can take advantage of features such as no Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI) with as little as 15% down, without a rate increase, and a 0.125% rate discount when automatic payments are made from a Manasquan Bank Personal Checking Account. In addition, the application fee is refunded at loan closing, and there are no hidden fees.
"The impact that educators, first responders, and military members have on our communities is immeasurable," said Mark Beriault, SEVP, Chief Lending Officer of Manasquan Bank. "These lending programs are another way of giving back, to say thank you and to ensure that those who serve others can take full advantage of homeownership opportunities in the communities they help build and protect every day."
The Educators 1st Loan is available to professionals employed by public and private schools, including full-time and substitute teachers, school nurses, custodians, secretaries, administrative, and staff at preschools, universities, and other educational institutions. Eligibility requires proof of employment such as a valid school- issued staff ID, a pay stub, or a letter from a school administrator. Substitute teachers must also submit a valid state-issued substitute teacher certification.
The First Responders Loan supports active firefighters (both career and volunteer), police officers, paramedics, EMTs, and 911 dispatchers. Applicants can qualify by presenting official department-issued badge or official identification card, a pay stub, or a letter of verification from their department head or unit.
The Hero Home Loan is available to active-duty U.S. military personnel, veterans with an honorable discharge, and members of the National Guard, Coast Guard, or Reserves. Qualified applicants must present a military or veteran ID, a Veterans Affairs (VA) card, or a DD Form 214.
These programs are now live and available for home purchases. More information, including details on how to apply, can be found at https://manasquan.bank/lending-solutions#personal-loans-mortgages or by speaking with a local Manasquan Bank Mortgage Lender.
