National Two-Year College Opens New Hub in Atlanta
Campus plans to hire 200 student success coaches, student support staff by the end of 2026, opens new office in Buckhead
ATLANTA, May 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Campus, a two-year college built for a generation of learners frustrated by the cost and pace of higher education, today announced it will open a new office in Atlanta to support the delivery of student support services for its growing student body across the country.
The college plans to hire 100 employees in the Atlanta office this year, with an additional 100 by the end of 2026.
Founded by tech entrepreneur and Atlanta-born Tade Oyerinde, Campus is backed by some of the most successful entrepreneurs and investors including Sam Altman, Shaquille O'Neal, Peter Thiel of Founders Fund, Joe Lonsdale of 8VC, Discord Founder Jason Citron, and Figma founder Dylan Field.
"I'm obviously super proud to be bringing Campus to my hometown, ATL." said Tade Oyerinde, founder and chancellor of Campus. "I grew up around some of the kindest, most authentic people in the world here and these are exactly the kinds of people I want serving in our student support roles."
Campus delivers live, online instruction from professors who also teach at top-ranked colleges and universities such as Stanford, Georgia Tech, and Spelman. Students receive wraparound support including on-demand tutoring and personal success coaching. The model is inspired by a research-backed approach that has been shown to double two-year college graduation rates.
Upon completion, Campus students have the option of transferring to a growing number of four-year institutions that have already accepted Campus grads, including NYU, Penn State, Temple University, University of California, San Diego and Butler University.
Campus' new office will be located at Tower Place 100, 3340 Peachtree Road NE in Buckhead. Jon Mayeske and Annie Lewis Gomez of Cushman Wakefield represented Campus in its lease at Tower Place 100. The office will open with a ribbon cutting ceremony on the afternoon of May 6 with Mayor Andre Dickens, Campus investor Shaquille O'Neal, and Dr. John Wilson, former President of Morehouse College and a member of Campus' Board of Trustees.
