ORLANDO, Fla., April 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- At a time when many legal organizations were struggling to meet their fundraising and event attendance goals, Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) stood out, selling out all of their activities under the leadership of their president, Arti Ajit Hirani. OCBA's biennial gala - one of their largest events of the year - brought in hundreds of attendees and tens of thousands of dollars, making it the association's most successful fundraising event in the last five years.

"I am so proud of what we have been able to accomplish at OCBA this year," said Arti Ajit Hirani, President of OCBA. "The association serves as a critical resource not only to the legal professionals who are members, but to the wider Orlando community. The collaborative spirit and dedication of the association's leadership is what makes OCBA exceptional, and I feel honored to have worked alongside them to achieve our goals."

Hirani became OCBA's President in June 2024. She made history as the youngest president of OCBA and the first Indian-American to hold the position. Hirani is also the only OCBA president to retain her seat on the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Section (YLS) of the Orange County Bar Association, where she serves as President-Elect. She currently works alongside her mother at their family-owned firm, Meenakshi A. Hirani, P.A, and in June 2025 Hirani will become President of The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division.

"The OCBA Gala was a truly unforgettable experience, marked by exceptional company, a spirit of fun and philanthropy, and a deep sense of community. I was truly honored to be a part of it," said Candice Disorbo, Executive Director of OCBA. "Arti has consistently demonstrated a rare combination of fearlessness and humility in her leadership. Her unwavering passion for bar service is both inspiring and infectious, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to work alongside her."
