SACO, Maine, July 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Xuron Corp. has introduced a new line of precision ergonomic scissors that are designed for specific tasks such as cutting thin soft metals, thread, leather, Kevlar^®, jump rings, and more.

Xuron^® Precision Scissors have no cumbersome finger loops and feature return springs, and soft rubber hand grips. Five types are offered: Model 441 for cutting thread, yarn, and embroidery floss; 440 for thin soft metals; Model 9180 with a serrated blade for cutting Kevlar^®, slippery leather, and parachute cord; 9180 NS with non-serrated plain blades for cutting jump rings and leaving both ends flat; and the 9180ET for thin photo-etch metals.

Designed for use by hobbyists, crafters, model- and jewelry-makers, and do-it-yourselfers, Xuron^® Precision Scissors can be held in the left- or right-hand and are comfortable to use continuously for several hours at a time. They are made from alloyed steel with an eye-friendly black finish.
