It has amassed assets over $1.13 billion, making it one of the average sized ETFs attempting to match the Large Cap Value segment of the US equity market. Why Large Cap ValueLarge cap companies typically have a market capitalization above $10 billion. Overall, they are usually a stable option, with less risk and more sure-fire cash flows than mid and small cap companies. While value stocks have lower than average price-to-earnings and price-to-book ratios, they also have lower than average sales and earnings growth rates. Considering long-term performance, value stocks have outperformed growth stocks in almost all markets; however, they are more likely to underperform growth stocks in strong bull markets.CostsCost is an important factor in selecting the right ETF, and cheaper funds can significantly outperform their more expensive counterparts if all other fundamentals are the same.Annual operating expenses for this ETF are 0.53%, making it one of the more expensive products in the space. It has a 12-month trailing dividend yield of 2.30%.Sector Exposure and Top HoldingsIt is important to delve into an ETF's holdings before investing despite the many upsides to these kinds of funds like diversified exposure, which minimizes single stock risk. Energy and Information Technology round out the top three.Looking at individual holdings, Qualcomm Inc (QCOM) accounts for about 3.54% of total assets, followed by International Business Machines Corp (IBM) and Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM).The top 10 holdings account for about 34.22% of total assets under management.Performance and RiskPWV seeks to match the performance of the Dynamic Large Cap Value Intellidex Index before fees and expenses. The Dynamic Large Cap Value Intellidex Index is designed to provide capital appreciation while maintaining consistent stylistically accurate exposure. The ETF has added roughly 12.11% so far this year and is up about 16.68% in the last one year (as of 07/07/2025).
