Planet Fitness kicks off fall with offer for new members to join for just $1 down and $15 a month

As autumn arrives, Planet Fitness is helping members stay active and energized with exercises designed for all fitness levels. These moves target strength, mobility and endurance:

  • Mobility + Flexibility:
    • Child's Pose: Kneel on the floor, sit back on your heels, and reach your arms forward on the ground to stretch your back and shoulders.
    • Hamstring Scoops: Standing with feet hip-width apart, hinge at the hips and reach down toward the floor, then return to standing.
  • Core Strength:
    • Mountain Climbers: Start in a plank position and alternate bringing your knees toward your chest in a running motion while keeping your hands planted.
    • Leg Lifts: Lie on your back with hands at your sides, slowly lift your legs up and lower them down with control, focusing on smooth movement.
  • Cardio + Conditioning:
    • Jumping Jacks: Jump your feet wide while raising your arms overhead, then jump back to starting position with arms at your sides.
    • Burpees: From a standing position, drop into a squat, place hands on the floor, jump feet back to plank, then reverse the movement to return to standing.
  • Lower Body Strength:
    • Reverse Lunges: Step one foot backward into a lunge position, lower your back knee toward the ground, then push back to starting position.
    • Wall Sit: Lean your back against a wall and slide down until your thighs are parallel to the floor, holding this position while keeping your core engaged.
