WEST CHESTER, Pa., July 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- AccessLex Institute®, the largest nonprofit organization in legal education, is proud to celebrate the continued momentum of its grant programs. Since 2014, AccessLex has awarded over $26.4 million to initiatives and efforts centered on the empirical study of legal education and the legal profession. Over $2.6 millionhas been awarded in the past year alone.
Awards are made through the Diversity Pathway Intervention Grant Program, the Bar Success Intervention Grant Program, the Bar Success Research Grant Program, the Directed Grants Program, and the Admission Innovation Project.
Notable grantees from the past year include the Equity Accelerator, which developed and tested an intervention designed to help bar exam-takers adaptively embrace challenges associated with preparing for the exam. The intervention was shown to increase chances of bar exam passage.
Another grant supported the establishment of the Association of Law School Diversity Professionals, an organization that provides professional development and community-building opportunities to legal educators committed to inclusive student success.
