SOUTH BEND, Ind., Oct. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading military mobility solutions provider, AM General, will focus on the agility and lethality of its key vehicle portfolio at the Annual Meeting and Exposition of the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) Oct. 13 – 15, 2025, Booth #6941, Hall D, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. This year, the company will feature the latest in mobile artillery with the restyled, next generation Hawkeye 105mm Mobile Howitzer System, the new and recently delivered JLTV A2, an enhanced and lethal JLTV-Trailer, and an upfitted MIMIC-V (Mission Integrated Maneuverable Interoperable Conformable Vehicle).

The redesigned and restyled Hawkeye 105mm Mobile Howitzer is lighter, faster, lethal, and features the patented soft recoil technology: the platform can absorb up to 60% of the cannon's recoil forces. The Hawkeye is disrupting traditional mobile files.

"It's an exciting time at AM General as we maneuver to best support the US Army's needs on the evolving battlefield," said Jim Cannon, AM General President and CEO. "AUSA provides the best venue for us to demonstrate to customers our transformation through innovative, lethal, and combat-proven systems that enhance the Warfighters' readiness."

The company is set to proudly debut the next generation Hawkeye 105mm MHS – a distinctively restyled artillery truck that integrates the best of the company's light tactical vehicle platform with a new design and powertrain that results in a light weight, agile, rugged, and lethal platform. Hawkeye can be emplaced, fired, and displaced in under 90 seconds, delivering unmatched survivability and responsiveness for modern combat operations. At the heart of the system is a patented soft recoil technology, which reduces recoil forces by up to 60%. This breakthrough enables integration of a large-caliber weapon on a nimble, rugged platform—bringing to life a new class of highly mobile, precision-capable artillery. The enhancements on Hawkeye are based on extensive firing and combat testing in the laboratory of war.

AM General will also display the substantially improved JLTV A2 and the JLTV-Trailer which is enhanced with AV Switchblade 600 loitering munitions for increased lethality. With a new, more fuel-efficient powertrain, enhanced corrosion control, and optimized systems repacking for ease of maintenance, the JLTV A2 offers the Warfighter a formidable, rugged, and capable vehicle for multiple missions. On the show floor, the vehicle will be upfitted with the Kongsberg M156 Crows remote weapons station enabling operators to engage targets from within. First units of the truck and trailer have been delivered to the Army for testing.

Additionally, the company will feature the purpose-built special operations vehicle, the MIMIC-V with an integrated UAS system and high caliber weapons for special forces operations. The vehicle has been configured to serve as a mobile drone operations hub, enabling rapid deployment, launch, and recovery of XTEND Defense's human-guided autonomous drone systems. For the show, AM General also collaborated with SPEAR UAV to integrate their Viper 300 UAS drone system for precision strikes and beyond line-of-sight engagements. The MIMIC-V is upfitted with TriEye's groundbreaking, cost-effective CMOS-based Short-wave Infrared (SWIR) technology that is designed to overcome adverse conditions and deliver high-resolution imaging and 3D depth perception where standard cameras are blinded. The TriEye integration offers unprecedented situational awareness, potentially giving troops a critical advantage across the entire spectrum of military operations. These new capabilities deliver unmatched operational flexibility and agility for special operations and light infantry units operating in complex environments.
