CHANTILLY, Va., May 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Arcfield, a leading government services and mission support provider, announced today the successful completion of its Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) process. The company took an early path to CMMC certification by participating in the Joint Surveillance Voluntary Assessment Program (JSVAP) which resulted in a CMMC Level 2 certification.

The assessment included a comprehensive evaluation of Arcfield's cybersecurity practices, policies and processes, as well as documentation reviews, interviews with the Arcfield security and IT teams, and live demonstrations with cross-functional Arcfield representatives. After a week-long evaluation, Arcfield received a perfect 110-point JSVAP score, with zero gaps identified and no plan of actions and milestones required. As a result, Arcfield earned a Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity Assessment Center (DIBCAC) High certificate, confirming its CMMC Level 2 readiness as-of September 2023, which ultimately transitioned to a CMMC Level 2 certificate as outlined in part 170.20 of the final 32 CFR CMMC rule.

"The significance of the missions we support requires a failsafe infrastructure that can stand up to even the most sophisticated adversaries," said Kevin Kelly, chairman and chief executive officer of Arcfield. "Since our inception, we have been designing our systems, processes and policies with CMMC in mind and our perfect score rating is a reflection of our success. We were proud to participate in the voluntary assessment and safeguard our ability to deliver unwavering support to our mission partners."

The JSVAP allowed authorized CMMC 3rd Party Assessment Organizations (C3PAO) to assess Defense Industrial Base (DIB) organizations that have implemented National Institute of Standards and Technology 800-171 practices until the CMMC 2.0 rulemaking process was complete and mandatory requirements defined. Arcfield's assessment was conducted jointly by Redspin, a C3PAO, and DIBCAC.

"Arcfield's journey has been remarkable," said Brian McManamon, president of Redspin. "The perfect 110 score they received stands as a testament to Arcfield's steadfast commitment to cybersecurity standards, and we at Redspin, are honored to have been chosen as their C3PAO."

Arcfield was amongst only a handful of DIB companies selected to become an early adopter through this voluntary assessment and has been applying CMMC Level 2 processes across its operations since completing its JSVAP assessment in 2023.
