This year's event coincides with pivotal changes in tax policy, as the U.S. Congress deliberates key tax cut proposals and extensions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). Additionally, global tax reform efforts by the OECD and the UN bring new challenges and opportunities for multinational corporations and their tax teams. The Forum provides a platform for leading tax professionals and policy advisors to address these developments, gain insights and exchange concerns and strategies.

The event kicks off with a fireside chat with a keynote fireside chat with Derek Theurer, Counselor to the Secretary of Treasury. He will talk about his perspective on current tax policy developments, his priorities when advising the Treasury Secretary on national and international tax policy and what companies should expect.

The first panel, "Tax Policy on Capitol Hill" will then dive deeper into various tax and spending cuts in the One Big Beautiful Bill, including TCJA extensions, Section 899 and other proposals. Industry leaders Alex Brill, senior fellow, American Enterprise Institute, Aruna Kalyanam, global and Americas tax policy leader, EY, and Jonathan Samford, president & CEO, Global Business Alliance, will share insights into these pivotal policy changes and their impact on businesses navigating an ever-evolving tax landscape.

The event's second panel, "Key Challenges in a New Transfer Pricing Risk Landscape" will intricacies of transfer pricing in today's interconnected global economy, the interaction between tariffs and transfer pricing, preparedness for Pillar Two filings, and the future of Amount B of Pillar One. Industry experts Laurie Dicker, technical practice leader transfer pricing, national tax office, BDO, Scott Levine, tax partner, Baker McKenzie and former deputy assistant secretary for international affairs at the U.S. Treasury, and Luisa Scarcella, global policy lead – taxation and trade, International Chamber of Commerce, will discuss the shifting regulations, emerging risks, and evolving expectations shaping transfer pricing strategies for businesses worldwide.

A final fireside chat wraps up the event. Bloomberg Tax reporter Lauren Vella will interview Ramy Youssef, the chairman of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee on International Tax Cooperation Convention at the United Nations and the deputy minister of finance for tax policy and reform in Egypt. He will provide insights into the international tax reform negotiations that are ongoing at the United Nations.
