CAPROCK TAPS VETERAN INVESTMENT OFFICER VIVEK JINDAL AS CIO
BOISE, Idaho, June 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Caprock, a leading multi-family office Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) serving ultra-high-net-worth clients, has appointed seasoned investment professional Vivek Jindal as Chief Investment Officer (CIO).
Jindal will leverage his more than two decades of investment experience with families and asset managers to oversee Caprock's investment platform, provide a structure to support growth and identify top-tier investment opportunities for the firm's clients. He was previously CIO at KORE Private Wealth, prior to the firm being acquired by CI Financial/Corient.
Jindal was selected as part of an extensive nationwide search for a successor for Richard Rock, a founding member and wealth advisor who served as Caprock's visionary investment leader for nearly two decades. Rock will remain on the firm's investment team and focus on advisor and client support.
"As we embark on Caprock's next chapter of growth, Vivek's proven leadership and expertise will elevate our investment platform, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional opportunities and value to our clients," said Gregory Brown, Caprock's co-CEO.
Rock added, "Vivek has the experience and vision to position Caprock for further growth. He keenly understands how to structure our investment platform with a continued emphasis and access to private market investing. And he knows how to build a team with asset-class expertise and tech-enabled solutions that will support our advisors and their clients."
Jindal will guide Caprock's portfolio construction and manager selection with attention to public and private markets and impact and non-impact investing opportunities across all asset classes.
Bill Gilbert, Caprock's co-CEO added, "We are very excited to bring Vivek's experience to Caprock and fortunate to make the transition with the support of Rick and the exceptional foundation he has established. We are poised for the next phase of growth under Vivek's leadership."
Before his CIO role at KORE, Jindal helped lead the investment team and program at the Charles and Lynn Schusterman family philanthropies and the Schusterman Family Interests. Jindal was also on the Alternatives Asset Management team at The Blackstone Group and a senior portfolio analyst at Corbin Capital Partners. He began his financial services career as a member of Ernst & Young's valuation staff in its Transaction Advisory Service group.
Jindal said, "I'm extremely excited to be part of Caprock and its distinguished investment team, as we are aligned in our approach from an investment and values perspective. I look forward to continuing the incredible work that Rick has been doing for the past couple of decades."
Jindal will be based in New York City and is the latest to join Caprock as the firm continues to grow its management and advisor teams. In recent months, the firm has named Frank Giuliano as its Head of Corporate Development, added David Solow as a Managing Director and Client Advisor and added Sandy Nixon as a Client Advisor.
