Nonprofit EyeCare4Kids' free eyewear program helps Arizona children in need, thanks to Eyemart Express donation

This contribution of 834 frames and 2,001 eyewear accessories will help thousands of children in the Grand Canyon State gain access to clear vision, giving them the tools they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

"Far too many children in underserved communities struggle in school simply because they cannot see clearly," says Maggie Cline, CEO of EyeCare4Kids. "This generous donation from Eyemart Express helps us break down barriers for these kids, ensuring they have the same opportunities as their peers to learn, grow, and thrive."

EyeCare4Kids provides free vision screenings, comprehensive eye exams, and glasses to children who otherwise may not have access to care. Since its founding in 2001, the nonprofit has provided over 500,000 vision care services to families in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and Africa, removing a significant barrier to education and health care for children in low-income households.

Eyemart Express has a long-standing commitment to improving people's lives through vision health in local communities. The retailer partners with nonprofit groups across the country to bridge gaps in essential eye care for underserved communities.

"At Eyemart Express, we believe that everyone deserves the gift of clear vision," says Eyemart Express Co-President and General Counsel Jason Shanks. "We are proud to support EyeCare4Kids in their mission to bring critical eye care services to Arizona children, and we hope this donation is just the start of unlocked possibilities for them."
