InventHelp Inventor Develops Modular Tab & Slot Electrical Connector (NJR-284)
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to create a modular tab and slot type of electrical connector solution so that pre-wired outlets and switches could simply be plugged into matching in-wall electrical boxes," said an inventor, from Clifton, N.J., "so I invented the M I DEVICE. My design is for both rewiring and new work electrical installations with respect to both electrical boxes and the electrical outlets and switches."
The invention provides a simple and effective means of installing electrical fixtures and switches. In doing so, it eliminates much of the manual effort and technical know-how associated with AC power branch circuit wiring installations. It also would maintain proper hot, neutral, and ground wiring connections. The invention features a polarized design that is easy to use so it is ideal for electrical contractors, do-it-yourselfers, etc. Additionally, it is producible in design variations.
The original design was submitted to the New Jersey sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
